The puppies went to the vet yesterday. They got their first set of shots, a dewormed and a checkup. All have a clean bill of health. They came home so tired and hungry.

The puppies turned 7 weeks old today! I have been spending lots of time outside with them and also lots of 1 on 1 time with each one. So far, they've been introduced to the car, the garage, most of the house, puddles, new people, and more! And they visit the vet for the first time in a week!

I let the puppies out of the puppy area a few hours a day, and it's been nice since they go on their potty pads about 90% of the time, and each day, they get better. This is my first time having a mostly potty trained litter, and I don't even know what I did differently this time.

Puppies are growing quickly. They had fun in their tunnel. kennel training is going better and better each day. They don't whine as much before their nap, and they wake up calmer. I post updates on my Instagram almost daily @akoyakennels

I took Powell, Huron, and Superior to the laundry room yesterday while the machines were running to get used to the noise. It was a little scary at first, but after a few minutes, they got used to them and started walking around and smelling everything. I will take the other 5 puppies today. Kennel training has been going well, they fall asleep in their kennels within a few minutes of me putting them there. In a few days, I will start to kennel train the puppies individually instead of by pairs.

The puppies started eating solid food a few days ago, I expanded their area, and I started kennel training them today.

These babies are 3 weeks old today! They started learning to walk a few days ago, but they're still a little wobbly when they walk. In a few days, I will expand their area and introduce them to puppy food!

The puppies are doing great. I have been doing ENS and ESI with them, and they've been thriving. Some of the scents I've introduced them to are apples, leaves, cats, spruce, lemon, and strawberries. Their eyes also started to open.

Maggie did amazing work with the puppies around crate training and potty training! My puppy LOVES his crate and doesn’t even fuss about being in there after just 2 weeks. He hasn’t had any potty accidents. It’s incredible! Maggie also did such a great job matching up the puppies’ temperament with a home that would be suitable for them. Bravo!!
