Meet the breeder

I'm Kris T., the breeder behind AK's Border Collies and Brittanys located in Shoreline, WA. We are a family who loves dogs. We strive to produce dogs that are smart and well put together. We believe that conformation is more than just looking beautiful, it helps our companions to live long, active lives. Our dogs are family members. They compete in multiple venues (obedience, agility, herding, hunting, conformation).

Q. & A. with Kris

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our Mentor requested that a dog she sold us be bred (the dog was an exceptional specimen, she could hunt all day and looked beautiful doing it).
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs. The dogs we breed are health tested and have achievement titles. We only breed dogs that we think will improve the breed.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
