I'm Ann O., the breeder behind Ali-Ann Standard Poodles located in Fargo, ND. Our program is dedicated to only breeding dogs that we know are exemplary representations of the standard and will make a positive contribution to their line and to the families who love them. We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we want only the best for them and for our buyers.

Why did you start breeding?
Fell in love with the standard poodle and wanted to learn more. Obedience brought me to shows where I met others involved with the standard poodle. I started a breeding program and have improved the quality of my dogs over the years. It is quite rewarding.What makes your program special?
I spend hours pouring over pedigrees and photos. I attend dog shows like the national specialty to compete and to meet quality dogs. Find the ones who best suite my girl. I usually don't breed unless I am looking to keep a puppy to show from the breeding. Breeding isn't for the faint of heart. There are disappointments and tears. Finding the right male for the girl is just the beginning. Once the puppies arrive the real work begins with ENS introducing new sensations as the puppies grow. Providing age appropriate stimulation and training. Assessing and evaluating puppies to make sure they are placed with a family that is a good fit.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Poodle puppies include black, blue, brown, cream, and white. Havanese puppies include white, red, black, and red sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Ann
Ann has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Ann partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We do Volhard Temperament testing as well as comformation evaluations. We match puppies with families based on the qualities of both the family and the puppy.”
Price
“The puppy price includes a well socialized and vet checked puppy with vaccinations appropriate for its age. AKC Limited Registration, Health Guarantee, and microchip. Puppies will be comfortable in a kennel, started on leash and potty training. Parents are AKC Champions and health tested with results on OFA. VGL diversity testing is also completed on the parents. Deposit are accepted once puppies are two weeks old. The deposit and signed contract secures a puppy in the litter. If there is not a suitable puppy in the litter the deposit will be returned.”

About Patsy
Patsy is a female Havanese. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Ann decided to make her part of their program. Ann has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
