I'm Alyssa A., the breeder behind Allen Fam Mini Schnauzers located in Marietta, GA. This is our second, and likely last, litter with this female. We own grandma, grandpa, and mom, and have a good relationship with the father (Khole- AKC) of these puppies. We stand behind the health and temperament of our puppies and select forever homes that best complement the unique personalities of each puppy.
Q. & A. with Alyssa
Why did you start breeding?
I was raised with a female schnauzer that my parents bred twice and I wanted to give it a try and absolutely fell in love!
What makes your program special?
We have an incredibly hands-on structure with the puppies. They are used to human touch all over their bodies, faces, bums, feet, and teeth. We play with them and hold them and snuggle them so they will be used to touch with their new families. We make sure they begin crate training before they head to their families, and they will be on solid food.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Evey
Evey is the best personality you can get in a schnauzer. She does her job to alert us with her bark when needed, but she is the sweetest, most loving dog you could ever have. She likes to relax with us, but also loves going on walks. She is a great mother to her puppies, but not overly protective and allows humans (even visitors) to come close without being upset.
Parent health testing
Allen Fam Mini Schnauzers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Miniature Schnauzers.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
