Rhodesian Ridgeback
About Eris
Amazing working ranch/family protection Rhodesians. Extremely good lines, wonderful health, temperament , work ethic , and unmatched beauty. No genetic issues on either side. These dogs will work your ranch, face down a bobcat, cuddle your babies,guard your livestock, and hang on the couch with you all day. All puppies are socialized to horses, ranch work, cats, parrots, chickens, small animals, and pets of all sizes. Incredible alarm dogs with the moxie to back it up. They will not harm even your smallest farm animal but will face a Bobcat without a seconds hesitation. Both sire and Dam are AKC Registered, and come in at about 110-115lbs.

Spar is a male Rhodesian Ridgeback almost 3 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Anna decided to make him part of their program. Anna has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Good level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
