Amber’s Goldendoodles

Denise D.

Breeder of Goldendoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Denise D., the breeder behind Amber’s Goldendoodles located in Seven Lakes, NC. Our litter is raised in our home to help set the foundation for happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies that grow into great loving dogs. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy! To ensure a loving home, we require an in-person visit and application.

Q. & A. with Denise

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up raising sheep and horses, so raising Goldendoodles was a logical and fun move for me. Amber was intended to be a show dog but developed a white strip down her chest which eliminated her from showing. We chose to bring her into our family.
  • What makes your program special?

Amber is first and foremost a loving pet that is great with kids. Once I was certain her DNA was healthy, I decided to breed her twice and share those traits with young families. I do my best to keep costs down so that I can offer them at a price that I hope young families can afford. You can find our application at the following link: https://forms.gle/7RLHtj1Dz4EFm8yS8
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • DNA Disease Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
