I'm Angie/Aaron M., the breeder behind AMC Poodles located in Mount Vernon, IL. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! We just adore this breed and can't wait to share our love for them with you! We are passionate breeders and are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. We do all that we can to make sure our pups get the best care and go to the best homes!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We love the breed and want to continue to better this breed by producing the best quality puppies by looking at not only color and personality traits but health testing and lineage.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of our puppies are raised in our home and are socialized with other animals and people of all ages. We also do Early Neurological Stimulation!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include moyen and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Angie/Aaron

Angie/Aaron has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Angie/Aaron partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We take a lot of pride in making sure our puppies fit in with the homes we have selected! We work with our families to make the best decisions for a lifetime commitment for our puppies! I send pictures and videos and update our families so they can get to know the puppies and their personalities before a decision is made!”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a spot in a litter. The remaining $1,700 - $3,000 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, Full Embark Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    I had such a great experience with Angie and AMC Poodles. I actually joined her waitlist before Cash’s mom was even pregnant, so Angie brought me along for the entire journey. She texted me the sonogram, sent me pictures as the puppies were being born, and kept me updated every step of the way. Even though the whole process was virtual, she still made it feel really personal and special. I had first pick of the litter, and I asked A LOT of questions. 😂 Angie was always responsive and thorough. We talked about my family, the kind of home we would provide, what I was looking for in a dog, and the personalities she was seeing develop in the puppies. I never felt pressured or like she was trying to sell me anything.     We chose Virgil (now Callan) to be a companion and family dog he has been such a sweet, calm puppy! Angie was great at keeping us updated and answering any questions we had.     We recently picked up our new sweet poodle puppy Cooper (Jagger) from Angie and Aaron's Rock-n-Roll litter. We were looking for a reputable breeder who clearly focused on important things like breed testing, overall health and good breeding practices. We actually drove 9 hours one way from our home in SE Michigan to get him! From start to finish, despite my "anxiousness", the entire process was easy and comforting. I made sure to speak to Angie on the phone early in the process so we could introduce ourselves and ask/answer questions that we had. Their love of the breed and puppies was readily apparent in her frequent photo and video updates. I appreciated their clean and well equipped outdoor play pen and seeing her family members socialize the puppies. When it came time to make a selection, we trusted the process in her recommending little Cooper to us based upon our needs and lifestyle. He has been such a sweet and enjoyable little pup and is quickly bonding with our family! He was healthy and ready to go at pick up time.     Angie was very responsive during all the stages of the litter we had a pick in. She answered all of our questions that we had about poodles and her specific breeding practices.
