I'm Elizabeth A., the breeder behind Ameral Havanese located in San Diego, CA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.
Q. & A. with Elizabeth
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding and researched everything regarding breeding back in 2020 during the pandemic, it was super interesting to me. It has been a great experience working closely with our Sire and our veterinarian office. Havanese are such a cool breed. They may be small but they are sturdy. Having a Havanese is like having a Golden Retriever in a toy-size body!
What makes your program special?
We ensure the puppies are highly adaptable and used to various sounds, textures, and situations. Puppies will be raised alongside Kune Kune pigs, Boer goats, Golden sex-linked chickens, and Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, as well as Maine Coon cats and feral outdoor barn cats that keep our rodent population down on the hobby farm.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Crumbl
Crumbl is the perfect breed ambassador for Havanese. She is silly, funny, charming, intelligent, and so sweet we just had to name her after the cookie company. Crumbl has done extensive obedience training and has been around piglets, goats, chickens, lizards, Maine Coon cats, and lots of children including special needs children. She is sable-parti.

Elizabeth was really fantastic to work with in so many ways. She’s friendly, accommodating, and was always ready to answer my questions. Even better, Elizabeth regularly gave proactive updates on Muffin and her littermates through photos and videos. She also went the extra mile to film Muffin’s first vet visit. When I arrived at her family home, I could tell Muffin and her littermates were showered with love. I appreciate that the puppies got exposure to nature, children, and other animals at such a young age. I am so incredibly grateful to have found Elizabeth and Muffin. I would advise anyone who finds one of Elizabeth’s puppies to reach out and learn more, knowing you and the pups are in kind-hearted, loving hands.
