I'm Amy R., the breeder behind Amy's Bernedoodles located in Burley, ID. Our dogs are bread for health and temperament. We have been a family of dog lovers for many years and wanted to create a breed that we have loved and knew could bless other family’s.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our journey into dog breeding began with a deep love and appreciation for the breed. Our love for both the loyal ,gentle nature of the Bernese mountain dog and intelligence and low shedding qualities of the poodle. Our breeding program focuses on raising happy, healthy puppies with exceptional tempermants.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is built on a foundation of health, temperament, quality and life long support. We take pride in matching each puppy with the right family. Our puppies are raised in a family environment where they receive daily socialization, enrichment, and exposure to everyday sights and sounds. We believe that breeding is more than producing puppies it’s a lifelong commitment.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amy

Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Amy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We like to match puppies according to the needs of the owners and what they are looking for. Once the puppies start showing personalities then we can better find the perfect home for our puppies. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All puppies will be dewormed at 4 and 6 weeks and have there first set of vaccines! Health checks will be done by a certified vet. All deposits are nonrefundable unless unforeseen circumstances happen with a puppy. At that time you’re welcome to have your deposit returned or put it towards another puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Amy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
