I'm Chelsea H., the breeder behind Ancient City Cane Corso located in St. Augustine, FL. My husband and I are the breeders behind this program. Each dog we own is with us in our home and lives like part of the family. We ensure our dogs and puppies are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their new homes. We take pride in preserving the health and structure of this breed.

Why did you start breeding?
We worked with a very well known breed revivalist, mentor, and AKC Breeder of Merit, and started our program under his guidance. We are passionate about preserving the breed for what they are meant to be- a strong, stable dog, with good health, conformation, and temperament. We are looking for homes for our puppies that will offer the lifelong love, stability, and training that these dogs need.What makes your program special?
We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We value ethics, honesty, and a commitment to what is best for the dogs. We are passionate about health testing every dog used in our program. We also are available to every owner for any questions, for life. Our dogs are raised as part of our family, and that's what we are looking for in our puppy homes.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
"This price includes tail crop, AKC registration, first round of immunizations, worming, microchip, and take home care package. The deposit covers registration and vaccinations. We do not sell based on color, but gender is definitely considered in puppy placement. The deposit will hold your spot for a future litter if needed."

Luca is a highly intelligent and active corso who loves to run and be active even at 7.5 years old. Luca is great with kids, loves his people, and is a big goof He is an AKC Champion and fully health tested with excellent hips as well as normal patellas, elbows, and heart. He is DSRA clear

Envy is owned by Wendy Davis and Sarah Agler and lives in Ohio. She is an even tempered, and driven corso. She has her AKC grand championship and is fully health tested. She is DSRA clear, so all puppies will be as well

About Leia
Leia is a female Cane Corso. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Chelsea decided to make her part of their program. Chelsea has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Dental-skeletal-retinal anomaly (DSRA)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
