Lavigne and Puvvy's litter

Berger Blanc Suisse
About Puvvy
Puvvy may be small, but she’s undeniably mighty. Her full coat gives her a larger-than-life appearance, but beneath it all, she’s compact, agile, and incredibly athletic. With a high food drive and virtually no toy drive, she’s most motivated by treats and praise, making food-based training especially effective. Puvvy is highly social and loves engaging with people she soaks up affection and enjoys being the center of attention. The show ring is where Puvvy truly shines. She already holds several titles, including Champion and Junior Champion of Russia, as well as her UKC Championship. Although she has yet to place in group, the responsibility lies with me as her handler I’m continuing to improve my handling skills so that I can better showcase her strengths and presence in the ring. Puvvy is neutral to both water and gunfire, showing a calm, steady temperament in various environments. While she doesn’t always settle easily and still struggles with developing an off-switch, this is something we’re actively working on. She also has a strong prey drive, which we are training toward greater neutrality and control. She’s exceptionally smart and agile, showing strong potential in both obedience and agility. Her natural talent for scent work is impressive she has a great nose for tracking and nosework. We may pursue a BH title and potentially some tracking titles in the future. Puvvy is also a proven mother and has produced a promising litter. I’m currently monitoring her offspring closely for health, temperament, and working potential as they grow and mature. Most importantly, Puvvy is being raised as an assistance dog prospect. While she has the ability to succeed in various sports, her primary role will be to serve. Puvvy has tested and cleared for Pituitary Dwarfism (clear) and Cerebellar Hypoplasia (clear)

About Lavigne
Lavigne has a medium prey drive and play drive, paired with a lower food drive, which makes toy- or praise-based motivation more effective for him during training. He has shown a natural aptitude for herding and has already begun work on sheep a field I hope to continue pursuing with him as his instincts and responsiveness show real promise. Lavigne has earned his UKC Championship, a testament to his structure, temperament, and overall quality. Currently, we are working toward his BH title in IGP and actively training across all three phases: obedience, tracking, and protection. While I’m confident in his ability to achieve an IGP1, I’ve made the decision to hold back due to his elbow ratings (OFA ED1/2). His long-term health and comfort are my top priorities, and this choice ensures we prioritize his well-being over accolades. Lavigne is a dog of quiet confidence. He’s aloof with strangers and prefers calm, respectful interactions he is not one to seek out human attention indiscriminately, but he’s deeply loyal to those he trusts. He is incredibly sound and environmentally stable, showing zero reactivity to loud or sudden noises, including fireworks, gunfire, and even cannon fire. This resilience makes him an adaptable companion in a variety of settings. Though not food-driven, Lavigne is easily motivated by toys especially balls and squeaky toys, which he absolutely adores. He has a charming, sometimes silly personality and brings joy with his goofy antics, yet remains thoughtful and serious when it comes to work. Lavigne is tested for Cerebellar Hypoplasia (clear) and Pituitary Dwarfism (carrier).
