Meet the breeder

I'm Brittney A., the breeder behind Anderson Blau’s Great Danes & French Bulldogs located in Granbury, TX. We strive to provide owners with healthy, socialized, and well bred puppies. We believe in letting our dogs be dogs first, then breed. We health test our breeding stock and we don’t breed too young. We strive to breed your best friend!

Q. & A. with Brittney

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have loved the breed most of my life and I have seen so many terrible breeders out there breeding terrible dogs and not caring for puppies so I strive to be the best breeder and dog owner I can be. I have great mentors who are there to help guide me in making the best decisions for my program. My program is very small so that my dogs can live indoors fully.
  • What makes your program special?

Quality over quantity. I do not want my dogs overbred or bred too young. I health test my breeding stock and I invest myself completely to my litters the whole time they are with me. I use socialization programs to help make them the best they can be.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Brittany was very open with frequent communication and posted updates constantly. We felt part of the journey from the day conception was confirmed. Once picks happened, around 2 weeks, not only Facebook updates but other updates personally delivered too. We were so in love with our lil guy before we ever got to meet him. Archer is doing wonderful and has had a healthy bill of health from his recent vet visit. He is the perfect addition to our family. Archer, formerly know as Alan Jackson from the 90’s country legends litter was the last puppy born but he is a beast weight wise. We would certainly do business again in the future with Brittany.

Brittney is an excellent resource! She truly cares about the pups and their human families. About two weeks after bringing Stetson home, we had a bout of stomach upset that even our vet was challenged to resolve. After texting Brittney, she had some suggestions that helped firm things up, so to speak. She checked in a few days later to see how he was doing. Any time we have a question, she's very quick to respond. She loves hearing and seeing how her "kids" are doing, and always encouraging even when sleepless nights of urgent backyard trips feel overwhelming.
