I'm Rae Ellen C., the breeder behind Araeah's Red Standard Poodles located in Mondovi, WI. Established breeder of Red Standard Poodles, we occasionally produce blacks & apricots. Our goal is to breed structurally correct, healthy puppies maintaining the calm temperament that we love. Our dogs have proven themselves as performance dogs by achieving AKC Titles.

  • What makes your program special?

    We do sensory stimulation on all our puppies from the 3rd day to the 21st day. We introduce all types of activities, noises and textures for puppies, this guarantees our standards adapt very well and fit into a family routine rather quickly. Our standard puppies are also introduced to many different smells during their first weeks of life. Our dogs are kept busy working on AKC Titles in CGC, Rally, Trick, FASTCAT and Dog Therapy. Our program shares photo's and video's of puppies in our home from birth to 8 weeks of age via our Facebook account, link below.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, black, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rae Ellen

Rae Ellen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Rae Ellen partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We take great pride in assisting families with choosing their new family members. We share many video's, photo's and information on our Facebook page. Families can follow along and watch the puppies grow up from birth (born in my bedroom) until 8 weeks of age remaining in my home the entire time growing up, until they go home. Puppies will experience all the sounds a household has to offer. At 6 weeks of age only families with deposits will be allowed to visit and choose their puppy. If you are unable to come and choose in person, we will assist you with FaceTime and/or video's and specific questions about each available puppy. We limit choosing time to 30 minutes as puppies tire easily.”

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes vet health exam, samples and coupons when available. AKC registration papers provided upon spay/neuter verification. Buddy ID Microchip provided with prepaid lifetime registration Full Registration considered for breeders willing to work with and get Titles. Fee would be adjusted for Full Registration. Great incentives to title your puppy. Holding Fee is non refundable but transferrable to another litter if need be, will be determined by Araeah's. Date payment is received determines placement on the wait list.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Dentition, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Brucellosis
