I'm Donna C., the breeder behind Aramist Enterprises & Kennels located in Edinburg, VA. I breed AKC-registered top Show Line dogs. Temperament, health, and conformation qualities are my first and foremost priorities! I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family that will match their temperament and personality!
Q. & A. with Donna
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding dogs when I was a young kid just because that’s what ‘we’ did. Over the years I have been successful with many repeat clients because of the soundness of our dogs. People love the look and intelligence and appreciate the health and longevity of their pets. I love being able to do this. I only breed a few litters a year, so I am able to do it right.
What makes your program special?
I am extremely passionate about what I do. I love hearing back from clients after vet appointments saying how impressed the vet was with their new puppy, or how excited a new customer is when everyone stops them to admire their gorgeous animal. And having this extended ‘dog’ family, then of course there are the Champions, performance dogs, and working dogs doing their jobs!
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush, long, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
