Why did you start breeding?
I obtain my foundation bitch from Europe, in 2011. Her breeder said I could bred her once she was 3 and passed all her health tests. I joined our local breed club, and learned to show as well as train in obedience and agility.

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and pepper and salt. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Klare
Klare has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,500 deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“AKC Vaccinations, Microchip, First vet exam and first shots. All pups are temperament tested and examined for adherence to AKC Standard Schnauzer Breed Standard. Deposits are refundable if I choose not to go ahead with the transfer of the puppy. Once I am able to find a new buyer and the puppy is no more than 9 weeks old , I will refund 100%. After this time a daily care fee of $15 will be charged as well additional vet/shots needed.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Dilated Cardiomyopathy (Schnauzer Type)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
