Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“The price includes first vaccinations, several wormings, microchip and AKC registration. Show (breeding) and pet quality prices are different. A deposit is taken when litter is born. Deposit will be refunded if there isn't a puppy available for you; or if juvenile cataracts or hip dysplasia are diagnosed by a vet before 2 years old (according to contract).”
Kathy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Siberian Husky
About Draco
Black and White Siberian Husky, son of Pink and Lance. Will not be bred until over 2 and all health clearances are completed. But is so gorgeous I put him up him anyway!
Excellent health testing

Siberian Husky
About Glimmer
Glimmer is an up and coming female. She is out of my gorgeous Cara and has inherited her looks as well as her drive in harness! At an early age she has shown signs of being my next great lead dog! She is a love and a joy, although a little shy, so we are going to wait on her show career (and any breeding) until she is ready.
Great health testing

About Pink
Pink is the example of a true show line and racing line breeding. Her dad is a GCH with a 100% show line pedigree with LOTS of champions in it and her mom is a 100% racing line dog with multiple race finishes to her name. Her mom Sprite was bred by me, and her mother Panda was one of the best lead dogs I ever owned. Panda earned a Sled Dog degree title, by running over 100 miles within a certain time. These two dogs put together created exactly what I wanted: a beautiful AND athletic dog capable of succeeding in both arenas, as well as wonderful, healthy, dogs to share your life with. I am hoping Pink will also earn a Sled Dog title, but Covid put a stop to races in 2020, so we'll try again in 2021!

Siberian Husky
About Cara
Retired from breeding now. But may breed her two daughters in the future (Glimmer and Katniss). Cara is a Grand Champion, an active and very important member of my sled team (leader!) and a truly beautiful dog. I continue to race her and also to show her in the breed ring because she loves it and is a complete joy to show!

About Sir Lancelot ("Lance")
Lance is a goofy boy whose sire was the #1 dog in the country a couple of years ago "Sting" (GCHP Topaz Green Hornet). His mom is also a beautiful GCH who is owned by a good friend of mine here in Reno. Lance comes from a long line of Champions and Grand Champions and is a fun dog to live with and a member of my sled team!

Arcticgrace Siberians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Siberian Huskies.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
