Arcticgrace Siberians

Kathy M.

Breeder of Siberian Huskies

Meet the breeder

I'm Kathy M., the breeder behind Arcticgrace Siberians located in Sun Valley, NV. My dogs live with me in my house. They are bred according to their breed standard as well as for temperament and their ability to work in harness. All my dogs are health tested to ensure healthy, quality puppies, and breeding choices taken very seriously. I look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Kathy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I purchased my first Siberian around 1991 and fell in love instantly. I volunteered as a foster home for about 10 years and began training my own team (all rescues!) and showing in the show ring. In my opinion, many racing Siberians have lost the beautiful Siberian breed type; so I breed in order to produce a beautiful healthy working dog who everyone looks at and knows exactly what it is.
  • What makes your program special?

It is difficult in this day and age to own multiple dogs, let alone a sled dog team! There are few kennels on the west coast that perform in the show ring and in harness. I am able to place a puppy with you who has been raised in a home and lounged on a couch as well worked in harness. I breed for temperament and type and strive to find the right match for every puppy and its new family.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
