Arrowleaf Corgis

Mary S.

Breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Mary S., the breeder behind Arrowleaf Corgis located in Idaho. Our dogs are our pets first so even temperaments are a must. With that said, we handle our puppies on a daily basis, getting them used to different feels, sounds, and smells. Our puppies are raised in our home around people of various ages. Before planning a breeding, I like having homes lined up so I can give my puppies the best chance at a happy life. Message me and let's start a dialogue on what you're looking for and your experience.

Q. & A. with Mary

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had been researching breeding for a couple of years before I got my first PWC. I wasn't sure if I wanted to breed, but I decided if I did, I would need to work with several mentors. I ended up having my first mentor be someone who bred and showed outside my breed but still was able to assist with all the general questions I had. We still have a mentorship relationship 10+ years later.
  • What makes your program special?

I truly focus on socializing my puppies from the time they are born to the day they leave me. I believe the first weeks of their life impact how they will grow up and want to give my puppies the best start. I love my pet parents and have a continued relationship with almost every single person who has purchased from me and get regular updates on my puppies.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
