Deborah C.

Breeder of Siberian Huskies

Meet the breeder

I'm Deborah C., the breeder behind Artico Siberians located in Raymond, NH. We're committed to raising well-rounded Siberian Husky puppies who can excel in any venue with their new families. We built our program with care and intention in every step. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and it is our goal to provide each dog that comes from our program with a solid foundation of good health, neurological development, and loving care.

Q. & A. with Deborah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first Siberian Husky 2007 and fell in love with the breed. After 2 rescue huskies I wanted to get into showing. I imported my first show prospect in 2023 from Poland and love it. My daughter and I both show in AKC and UKC. We got our male stud prospect in 2024 and he finished his AKC championship at 12 months old.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small show kennel producing a very limited number of litters. We breed exclusively to produce superior representations of the breed with the intent to keep a show prospect out of each litter and to produce healthy, well rounded companions.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Excellent level

Artico Siberians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Siberian Huskies.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
