I'm Carol H., the breeder behind Aspen ESS located in Minnesota. We're an ethical hobby program with a great amount of education and experience in breeding healthy English Springer Spaniels! I produce pups that have the ability to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. My dogs are not only champions in the ring but in the hearts of their forever families!
Q. & A. with Carol
Why did you start breeding?
English Springer Spaniels are an incredible breed, and I carefully breed purposeful litters in order to preserve the wonderful qualities I found in my dogs. They excel both in and out of the show ring. I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come!
What makes your program special?
I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. My focus is on excellence in every aspect of my breeding program. My dogs are excellent representations of the breed, and I am proud to continue their line. When I bring a life into the world, I make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. I set my puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, ability, and drive. My goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
