I'm Ashley Y., the breeder behind ATW Retrievers located in Murfreesboro, TN. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care.

Why did you start breeding?
My dear Winston had complications his entire life. He was from a championship line, and came from a loving home. But proper health testing was never done. After I lost him it felt like part my soul disappeared. That is why I started my kennel. In hopes of providing healthy loving pets to wonderful families. Hopes to better the breed standards.What makes your program special?
We are currently working with Veterans Affairs to start a non profit that will raise funds specifically to train some of our puppies to be matched and donated directly to veterans in need of service animals. A portion of the proceeds from every puppy we sale will be set aside for sending other dogs from our litters to service dog training. website will be done soon.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We have a lifetime health guarantee! This is not a puppy exchange program. We guarantee the health of your new family member for life. Even 6 years from now; we will pay 50% of surgery. . A deposit will secure you a puppy and while not refundable it is transferable.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Ashley provides a level of care to her dogs that exceeded all of my expectations. She has researched the best diets, vitamins, toys, you name it. I feel so confident that our new pup, is as healthy and well cared for as she can be. Even more, her disposition is exceptionally sweet. She’s already house trained, sleeps through the night, and though she’s naturally compelled to chew, she is also quick to listen and redirect if she gets her mouth around a shoe or a rug. Ashley’s breeding process is thoughtful, and she is very knowledgeable about best practice. Her selection process is very fair, as well. We were able to meet the litter and see which pup we connected with best. I would absolutely recommend letting her help you find your Golden soulmate!

We are so grateful for Ashley at ATW Retrievers! Ashley went far and beyond to help us find my daughter’s furever buddy that will grow beside her as her future service dog. Ashley was quick to answer questions, send pictures, share her knowledge and help accommodate a visit with my daughter’s powerchair, so we could visit with the pups to see how they would react. All the pups are clearly loved, well taken care for and socialized, because they were not afraid of her chair and were curious and friendly. Ashley was so fast to respond! I happened to run across her last puppy when looking for a puppy for us. It was meant to be! Posie is the sweetest and most loving little girl we have ever met.
