Meet the breeder

I'm Nancy M., the breeder behind AussieTex Labradoodles located in Austin, TX. At AussieTex, we responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy pups so you can enjoy the gift of living life with a multi-generational Australian Labradoodle! We commit to preparing our puppies to thrive in their new homes and are passionate about raising our puppies to be awesome family members.

Q. & A. with Nancy

  • Why did you start breeding?

A dear friend was looking for a guardian family shortly after one of our dogs had passed, and after keeping the puppy one weekend, we were hooked on Australian Labradoodles. With the encouragement and mentoring of our friend, we began learning all we could about the business until AussieTex Labradoodles was born. It is a lifelong learning and loving adventure with dogs. What fun!
  • What makes your program special?

All our puppies are whelped in our home and raised with lots of tender, loving care. We follow daily Avidog and Puppy Culture best practices and also give our puppies lots of socialization with our grandchildren. Early Neurological Stimulation is an important aspect of our puppies' development as newborns. These early weeks that we have them form an essential foundation for later development.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and chalk, caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel red, red, apricot, cream, chocolate, cafe, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Nancy was very responsive, and sent pictures of Rory while I was waiting to be able to pick her up! Everyone compliments Rory on how easy going, calm, smart and happy she is. I'm so glad I have such a loving and cuddly dog and that only could have been possible with loving breeders!

Nancy made this process amazing. She was patient with me, educated me, and helped with the emotional part of getting a new dog, as we had recently lost our 10 year old doodle to cancer. Cannot recommend enough. Excellent experience from start to finish!

Nancy and Rick are the best!! As a first-time dog owner, I had so many questions, and they walked me through every single one. From the moment I reached out, they were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. It’s clear that our puppy came from a breeder who truly loves and prioritizes their dogs. If you're looking for a breeder who goes above and beyond, not just in raising incredible puppies but in supporting you throughout the journey, I can't recommend Aussietex Labradoodles enough!
