Meet the breeder

I'm Janifer R., the breeder behind Austin Doodles & Poodles located in Austin, TX. We are a small family based hobby breeder in Central Texas, our puppies are raised indoors and around children. We are kennel free, we specialize in a variety of colors and sizes.

Q. & A. with Janifer

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved animals, especially dogs. We raised peacocks & goats growing up and had cattle and pigs. I remember being a kid in elementary and middle school always at the library checking out dog breed books! I studied and learned, and researched and since then its been my passion.
  • What makes your program special?

I want my future adopters to have a well socialized and sound puppy. We raise our puppies indoors, and around children. We have a curriculum we follow to ensure our puppies are off to a great start when they go off to their homes. We want our babies to be happy as well as our adopters. Health and temperament is our priority, our puppies are well socialized and raised indoors and around children. We offer lifetime support to our adopters as well as resources.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and phantom. Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, brown, red, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Janifer was excellent at keeping us imformed and sending pictures of our little cutie. She was quick to respond to any questions I could have. I feel like I will always be able to communicate with her in the future about any questions I might have going forward. To me that’s priceless
