I'm Dr. Charmayne E., the breeder behind Autumn's House of German Shepherds, LLC located in Lorton, VA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and ability. We strive to produce beautiful and versatile beloved companions. Our dogs are excellent family dogs, and we are proud to continue their line. We breed both to provide families with loving and capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.
Q. & A. with Dr. Charmayne
Why did you start breeding?
Don has owned German Shepherd Dogs on and off for over 40 years and introduced Charmayne to these loyal and loving Companions in 2015. Charmayne instantly fell in love with her first dog, Redd VIII and began her breeding education with the
American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2017 and continues her breeding education in her free time.
What makes your program special?
We carefully plan our litters using a “Selective Breeding” process that involves selection of the best possible match to bring out the most desirable characteristics in our German Shepherd Dogs. We invest in the use of a highly recommended and proven stud who is not only Titled with the highest Schutzhund Titles but is the progeny of World Championship title holders.
Autumn, our Dam is the granddaughter of the 2016, 2x World Champion.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
