I'm Tishar S., the breeder behind Avana Cotons located in Boise, ID. We have been breeding off and on for over 20 years. We start with the Bichon Frise the cousin to the Coton De Tulear. When our last Bichon passed at 17 years we decided to try a different breed. When we come across the story of the Coton (full story on our link) our heart just went out to this breed and the power of keeping the breed true to the colorful coton fur.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My father start my love for dogs with all the years in dog trails.

  • What makes your program special?

    We want to keep this breeds color alive and not breed to be totally white. This breed has so many wonderful qualities enjoy.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This includes deworming, heath certification, AKC registration and a puppy pedigree along with all the extra you get from AKC puppy kits. Will possibly transport with increase cost. The deposit guarantee of chosen puppy.”

Tishar may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
