I'm AVC P., the breeder behind Avcpoodles located in California. Our love for our dogs began at home, and now we share that joy through our small family breeding program. We raise health tested Toy and Miniature Poodles. Each puppy is family raised around cats and children, including those with special needs, to become a loving companion for life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding began after seeing the positive impact a dog could have on a family. My son’s service dog, showed me how intelligent, loving, and supportive these dogs can be. That experience inspired me to learn about responsible breeding and early socialization. Today, my goal is to raise healthy, well-tempered puppies that bring joy and companionship to their families.

  • What makes your program special?

    At AVC Poodles, quality is more important than quantity. We raise a small number of litters in our home, allowing each puppy to receive individual attention, socialization, and care. Our puppies are raised around children, cats, and family life, with a strong focus on health, temperament, and creating lifelong connections with the families who welcome them home.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Maltipoo puppies include apricot, cream, and champagne. Poodle puppies include apricot, black, red, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from AVC

AVC has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, AVC partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“I match my puppies based on personality and the kind of home they’re going into. I like to get to know my buyers a bithow they live, their routine, and what they’re looking for in a dog. I also like seeing pictures of the home to make sure it’s a good and safe environment. It’s really important to me that my puppies go to loving homes, and I prefer families who are open to staying in touch and communicating with me long term. I put a lot of care into raising them, so I want to make sure they end up in the best possible situation. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $550 non-refundable deposit and between $1,950 - $4,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.

A deposit holds your chosen puppy until they’re ready to go home. It confirms your commitment and allows us to begin preparing your puppy’s transition with love and care.”

AVC may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
