I'm Kerri W., the breeder behind Avery Doodle Day LLC located in Toledo, OH. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of a Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle and Poodles with other individuals and families!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Watching a friend learn to do this as her business and realizing that I too could turn what I already had been exposed to into a rewarding business.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our whole hearted love and passion for dogs, their well being, and being part of helping grow our family in other families with the same values.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Bernedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Goldendoodle puppies include cream, red, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Bernedoodle puppies include sable, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kerri

Kerri has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Kerri partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

“Buyers are put in order of receipt of Deposit., At 4 weeks of age, or earlier if Family pick #1 chooses their pup sooner, we go in order and contact the buyer via pre scheduled video call to make a final selection of chosen pup! 🐾”

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our total price includes a 1 year health guarantee, 1st set of vaccinations and deworming, puppy socialization and a care package upon pick up, as well as an optional 30 day free pet insurance through Trupanion. To secure picking order OR a specific pup, a non-refundable deposit of $400.00 is required.”

    Kerri was the most communicative and available breeder I found in all my searching. Most breeders want to communicate over email, but she was so quick to want to speak on the phone with me when we were searching for our puppies. You can tell how much she cares for her dogs and puppies. Kerri instilled a lot of confidence in both my husband and I throughout the process. She also was so helpful in preparing us to take our puppies home. She does an excellent job also preparing the puppies to house train which was awesome.     Having heard good things about the Good Dog network and their standards, we found Kerri / Avery Doodles as a nearby breeder when beginning our puppy search. Kerri was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, patient and thorough in answering all of our questions (and we had lots of questions). The doodle breeds were completely unfamiliar to us after having had boxer dogs for years. After initially inquiring about Kerri’s mini goldendoodle litter, we eventually selected a puppy from the mini bernedoodle litter. After we chose Mr. Green (now Cooper), Kerri continued to provide frequent updates to keep us informed about next steps and posted/messaged us photos and videos so we could see how our puppy was developing during the deposit date to the actual pick-up date timeframe. When we arrived, Cooper was bathed and fluffed. Kerri spent about an hour going over additional details to help make his transition to his new home as smooth as possible. During our in-person visit, we could witness how much Kerri sincerely loved the dogs in her family as well as creating opportunities for other families to enjoy doddle puppies in their lives. We’ve had Cooper for about 10 days and are getting used to how LITTLE he seems compared to our previous dogs, but he is adorable and seems to have a good mix of playfulness, curiosity and calmness. We appreciate the fact that Kerri had already started using his name and teaching him to sit and we are hopeful that the potty tray system she started will expedite the potty-training process. Based on our experience, we can highly recommend Kerri as a reputable, loving breeder.
