• Why did you start breeding?

  I grew up with puppies, mucking stalls, and helping my mom raise Jack Russells, Chow Chows, and later, Arabian horses. In 2014 we made it official and started AweStrunk Farms, blending our love of animals with the beautiful chaos of family life. Now our kids are growing up the same way—barefoot in the barn, surrounded by puppies, ponies, and a whole lot of love.

• What makes your program special?

  At AweStrunk Farms, our puppies don’t grow up in kennels—they grow up underfoot, in our living room, and often in our laps. They learn life surrounded by kids, other dogs, and our friendly farm crew of horses, goats, and chickens. We keep things small—only one special litter every year or two—so each puppy gets our full attention (and more cuddles than they probably need).

• What are the different breed sizes in your program?

  Our Bernedoodle puppies are medium size. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

• What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

  Our Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black, black and white, and tri-color. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

• Where do your breeding dogs live?

  They live in my home.
