I'm Barbara H., the breeder behind BA Mini Poodles located in Nacogdoches, TX. Our breeding stock is genetically tested and fully healthy before producing a litter to ensure quality puppies. We offer healthy well-adjusted puppies as companions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We live near an Aussie breeder, watching the "Aussie" action from afar but we found it hard to resist this adventure. With good foundation females, and using outside Poodles we began our Aussiedoodle program. In time we added a pair of Red/ Apricot Miniature Poodles, offering both Poodles and Doodles. In 2022 we cut back our program to focus totally on Miniature Poodles.

  • What makes your program special?

    We have chosen quality breeding parents and remain committed to their health and well-being. Each puppy receives daily attention & exposure to a variety of sights, sounds & smells in preparation for his forever home. Each buyer receives regular photo, video and text updates. We produce well adjusted, healthy puppies that make great companion pets.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, cream, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Barbara

Barbara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Barbara partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Our male Poodle price is $1850. The price for females Poodles is $2000. They are litter registered with CKC. . No deposit is required until application is approved, and litter match is completed. A non-refundable deposit of $300. will be requested at that time.”

Contract & health guarantee

Barbara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Our new puppy has been wonderful from the start. He has a ton of energy and will play all day. Barbara was so helpful in helping us get him. She explained everything that we needed to know when we picked him up and gave us a goody bag with a blanket with his mom and littermates scent on it and some food to last for a few days. She had all of his info together so that we could give it to our vet when we took him for his first appointment. Our puppy sleeps in a crate beside our bed. He has never whined and sleeps all night. We are really pleased with Barbara and our little boy.

    I really enjoyed my experience with BA Doodles & Poodles. Barbara has been very helpful before, during, and after my purchase from her kennel. We have continued to work together about my puppy and she has been able to answer all of my questions and concerns about my puppy. She and her husband are so wonderful. I was able to pick up my puppy and was able to meet her husband and the parents of my puppy. She keeps a very clean kennel and every dog has plenty of room to move around.     Barbara is an excellent breeder! She responded to all of my questions and made the process very easy. After getting to know a little about me, I was able to reserve Lily, who we have decided to name Ruby! I live in the Houston area, so meeting Barbara in Huntsville was perfect for both parties. Barbara provided all vet documents, microchip information and a few toys and blanket for our girl. You can tell Barbara is a responsible breeder and she genuinely cares about her pups.
