I'm Tabitha B., the breeder behind Babes & Danes located in Camarillo, CA. We are SO CAL breeders. We raise and set up our puppies as best as we can. Fully Health test our parents, show, sport, and carefully pair them before puppies ever arrive. The puppies get ens, socialized with kids, animals and different people/ places as well as basic trained before they leave us.

Why did you start breeding?
Being a vet tech for a few years made me fall in love with this breed and how amazing and loving they truly are! I then went on to be a certified trainer and now have multiple amazing Danes that advocate how Danes are supposed to be like!What makes your program special?
Because my number one main concern before I ever breed is health! I make sure my dogs are healthy and well suited to breed. I take the time to help my customers as well! FaceTime and available at all times for any questions or concerns as long as you have a member of our pack! I also train all my pups before they go home and while they are with their family’s!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include mantle merle, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tabitha partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“AKC, microchip, informative paperwork about the breed, first round of vaccinations, deworming, health certificate,socialization, welcome puppy pack,and me for their life longs trainer & nutritionist! Deposit will go towards your total purchase price. If you don’t want that puppy it can roll over to another puppy next litter.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Inherited Myopathy in Great Danes (IMGD), Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
