Why did you start breeding?
We created Back Country Aussies together as the breed complimented our lifestyle so well and to help bring our boy/girl twins into the world. The process to grow our family was extremely expensive, an emotional rollercoaster and draining. This program was also designed to grow with them and allow more family time as well as the opportunity to provide education.What makes your program special?
We strive to have clear quick responsive communication and willingness to work with your situation. Our puppies are also raised like one of our own! Each one of our dogs in our program are a part of our family and we will treat all our puppies as if they are our own to make sure they get the attention and socialization they deserve. We offer lifetime support for them even after they are gone!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include tiny and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"This price range reflects our pet pricing. Puppies come with up to date vaccines, wormer, vet exam and health guarantee. Breeding rights can be discussed, if the puppy qualifies as breed standard then full rights are an additional $600. All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferrable."

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We just adore our little pup! He's incredibly well-behaved for a 9 week old, and already settles quickly and doesn't even chew our shoes! Miss Jessie was super kind, clear, and patient as we had several curveballs getting him here via flight nanny over the holidays, but she hung in and never gave up. This is one awesome little Aussie and we hope to get another from her someday. ❤️
