Kristina R.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kristina R., the breeder behind Barefoot Goldens located in Naples, ME. We are breeders of Golden Retrievers, focusing on producing puppies with proper structure and the true golden temperament. We strive to produce the best Golden Retriever puppies in Maine. All of our litters are Sired by AKC Champions in conformation and both parents have hip, elbow, eye and heart clearances. Our Golden Retrievers live in our home and all of our puppies are raised by loving hands in our home until they go to their forever homes at 8 weeks of age.

Q. & A. with Kristina

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have been surrounded by the love of Goldens for my entire life, and have turned that love into a passion for making the Golden Retriever breed better through thoughtful breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

All litters are well planned, selecting optimum genetics from Champion Sires to create some of the best quality Golden Retriever puppies. Both parents have passed all health clearances, including hips, elbows, eyes, and heart. Our dogs & puppies have plenty of space to run & be playful, happy dogs. They are not kenneled; they're loved members of our family.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
