I'm Kevin & Melissa V., the breeder behind Battlemountain Kennels located in Cheyenne, WY. We raise high-quality field Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers known for their excellent temperament, making them wonderful family companions and outstanding hunting partners. Our parent dogs come from top genetic lines with exceptional health histories. We professionally train and board.

Kevin & Melissa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Prices vary on the breeding. Includes vaccinations, deworming, a vet check, microchip, and a puppy welcome kit. The deposit can be applied to another litter due to a family emergency, agreed upon by both parties.”

Kevin & Melissa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 18 Nov. •…Due to a family illness, Brooks is available again for adoption, he’s extremely precious and sweet, he gets along great with our other labrador puppy they plays all day, he is currently nine weeks old had his first series of shots, he is micro chipped, and had a clean bill of health from the veterinarian, he is litter box trained and working on crate training and treat and clicker training. He will make an unbelievable family member he’ll lay on your chest and snuggle and take a nap for hours. We cannot say enough about this little guy!!!!!!

About Elsa
Elsa comes out of Top Brass, Battle Mountain Kennels in Cheyenne WY. She has a very easy going personality and is very athletic. She is great with other dogs and children.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Blu has just had his final shots and is a whopping 33 pounds. He is a great hiking partner for his Momma. We hike most days at the hills below the Colorado Monument. He explores the desert off leash and stays by me within sight. He’s also getting used to his three cat brothers Blazer Lebowski, Jorge, and Bandito. We are taking puppy classes together and he plays with his brother Maverick, aka Mav. My heart is full.
