Patty B.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Patty B., the breeder behind Beach Cities Golden Retrievers located in Huntington Beach, CA. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members. Our adult dogs are all health tested and OFA Certified. Our Mommas also all do service dog training throughout the year. They have their CGC, CGCA titles. This is a very special program and we give back to the community. These puppies make the best family pets but also can do sports, hunt, and AKC events. These puppies come with AKC limited paperwork meaning the can not be used for breeding.

Q. & A. with Patty

  • Why did you start breeding?

Raised here in HB. I grew up around many dogs, worked for veterinarians, and have been breeding for years. We found our new love for Goldens when we found Hope! We got her in Minnesota near the Mayo Clinic when our daughter was sick. We found Hope when we drove through snow and met this special pup. We decided to start a new breeding program around her. • What makes your program special?

Because we do such a good job!! Our dogs are DNA genetically tested for diseases and we follow all AKC and OFA guidelines. Our dogs are taken on many outings and events as they grow up and in between litters. Our program is focused around health, obedience, and temperament. Puppies are golden color and dark red golden. Pups are introduced to early stimulation, we work on potty and crate training before they go to new homes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
