I'm Tara H., the breeder behind Beagles and Beyond, LLC located in Rigby, ID. We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies. In order to start our puppies off on the right paw, we begin training and socializing at a young age so they are set up for success in their new homes. We also preform Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) on all our puppies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up farming and ranching and we always had farm animals and dogs around. I learned to love our dogs and puppies at a very young age and knew then I wanted to breed dogs. I have very rarely not had a dog throughout my entire life. We love our dogs and strive to achieve the perfect strong and healthy puppies.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include cream, black and white, chocolate, brown, apricot, and black and tan. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tara

Tara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our prices depend on the color as well as personality and disposition. All of our AKC purebred papered dogs will have limited registration paperwork provided and be microchipped. It is your responsibility to complete the registration and activate the microchip.”

Contract & health guarantee

Tara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Musladin-Leuke Syndrome (MLS), Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We had a wonderful experience getting our puppy Noodle from Tara! Tara was very responsive and communicative. She shared updates about her puppy vet visits and was very up front about any abnormal findings. Tara also works with a wonderful flight nanny who was able to bring Noodle safely across the country with no issues and at an affordable price. Most importantly, we have now had Noodle for several weeks and she is a happy and healthy puppy. She looks exactly as pictured and her personality is just as described.
