Sometime last year, I decided it was time to get a dog. And it had to be a beagle. So, I searched. And searched. Then I found Beam’s Beagles. And Fran. My search was over! I found a woman with the biggest heart who loved her own dogs and loved breeding puppies for other people to love. Best of all, Fran has such a warm personality, and she gave the process such personal care that it touched my heart. Now, I’m the proud owner of Barney! He’s socialized, smart, easy to handle, crate-trained and is just a bundle of love! I’ll always be grateful to Fran for bringing me together with my new family member, Barney. Fran answered every question I had and walked me through each step from the excitement of the birth, through their development with photos and video, all the way to puppy pickup. The care that went into nurturing those puppies and preparing them for the real world could not be any better. I am grateful that I found Fran and Beam’s Beagles.

It took me over 10 years to even think about getting another beagle after my first one passed. Over the past year, I was looking for pure bred beagles on various websites where breeders sell their litters. All the websites were cookie cutter and basically advertise the puppy for sale along with a few pictures, health and documentation, and a description written by the breeder. I can say this now, because by chance I googled AKC Beagle and Show breeder to find my angel Fran. Just looking at Fran’s profile I could see she loved beagles. I was able to see Fran’s enthusiasm for breed through her shows and breeding. I communicated with Fran many times and quickly learned how much love and knowledge she has for what she does on a daily basis. Fran kept me in the loop from day 1 when the pups were born. It was such a joy to watch my baby beagle grow and play with her littermates for 8 weeks. So much so that when I picked up my Bella that I broke down when I saw how she was even more beautiful and loving in person. Fran provides such an enriching experience for her puppies that I was concerned my puppy may be bored with me. Bella quickly warmed up to me, and she was exactly what I was looking for. Countless people that have met Bella commented that she must have had an amazing breeder because of her demeanor. I can honestly say that I immediately noticed a marked difference in my Bella from Fran compared to my previous pure-bred beagle that was raised on a farm and kept in an isolated play pen with just food and water. Bella is personality plus and loves everyone she meets. As expert dog trainers suggest I was fully prepared to work on handling, desensitizing her to scary objects and socializing her with people especially men and kids but Fran created such a well-versed environment that Bella has had no issues with any of the above. I just focused on house training immediately which she has picked up quickly. It doesn’t take brains to breed dogs, but it does take an angel like Fran who is truly an excellent breeder with all the love and knowledge to give someone the very best beagle they could ever wish for. Bella – “Thank you Fran for raising me and giving me all the love in the world. I love my new home! My mamma gives me lots of kisses and cuddles. I get to go outside a bunch to play in the leaves and meet tons of friendly people and dogs. I am looking forward to playing in the snow!” xo

I’ve been wanting a good beagle from a reputable breeder for a while and Fran definitely delivered. I could tell from the first day that Fran took great care of him because he was so happy and social. I have never seen a happier puppy! I definitely recommend Fran as she loves beagles and cares greatly about her puppies. The whole process was smooth and easy and I couldn’t be happier.

Fran was so incredible to work with. Its been about a year since my other beagle passed, and I am so glad I found Fran and her beagles. Asher has such a wonderful temperament, it's apparent that she truly takes the time and the effort to raise some great pups. I was kept in the loop about everything and received so many pictures and videos. Fran was wonderful about telling me about the puppies and helped me pick the perfect one. Asher has really adjusted well and has such a solid foundation for everything, from crate training to potty training and even knowing not to jump for attention, he's been such a blessing and I couldn't be happier. Even the shipping was seamless, I was a little nervous about flying a dog and Fran was so supportive and answered all my questions. It has been so wonderful to work with her and if I am ever looking to get a brother or sister for Asher, Fran will absolutely be my go to.

Fran was an absolute dream to work with. Not only was her listing and description accurate, but she was extremely responsive and attentive to our pup’s needs. She sent pictures and videos often and our vet said the medical records were “stellar”. Travel coordination was clear and VERY easy. (We’d never flown an animal before, and they thought of everything.) Would highly recommend Fran’s beagles to anyone. We’re so grateful for our new family member.
