I'm Marcella A., the breeder behind Bear Ridge Doodles located in Somerset, KY. Our story is quite unique as we originally did not have plans of breeding. Our first Goldendoodle, Gus, was purchased as a therapy dog for our grandson that is on the autism spectrum. After seeing how intelligent Gus was and how much joy he brought to our entire family, we knew we wanted to provide others with the opportunity to welcome one of these loving, smart, adorable pets into their homes. So far, our own personal doodles have served as therapy dogs for those with autism and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), not to mention being loving companions to many more. At bear ridge doodles, we believe the first weeks of a puppy’s life are so very important. We provide all our puppies with excellent care in a loving environment. When your new family member comes home to you, they will be up to date on all shots, they will have began their training with puppy culture, had several groomings, will be well socialized and familiar with children.
