I'm Kathryn S., the breeder behind Beaucoup Standard Schnauzers located in San Antonio, TX. Our kennel name comes from the name of my first show dog, Beau. He lived in 5 cities, had multiple titles & was an unmatched sidekick in many seasons of life. After Beau crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we chose our kennel name to honor his memory.
Q. & A. with Kathryn
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up watching dog shows on TV. When I was in college, I got my first show dog, and the rest is history! Once I got married, and “upsized” to standard schnauzers. We are excited to breed these goofy, yet dignified, dogs. Getting a new dog can be daunting. Our goal is to alleviate anxiety by helping you and your family on their journey to finding the perfect new addition!
What makes your program special?
First and foremost, our dogs are pets. Yes, they have show and performance titles, but they also cuddle on the couch and play in the mud. We go camping, hiking, and travel together.
They don’t live outdoors or in a kennel. They live with us, trip us in the kitchen, bark at the UPS truck, and keep us safe from backyard lizards.
We love this versatile breed and are excited to share it with you.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are pepper and salt. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Sidney
Sidney is the sweetest girl who loves to be with her people. She lives for fetch, walks, and snacks, but she’s always up to cuddle on the couch. Sidney learns tricks faster than any schnauzer we’ve had (rolling over is her favorite!) She takes everything in stride and doesn’t seem to be bothered by anything. Dog shows, playgrounds, patios for dinner, she’s ready for it all (and happily accepts pets everywhere!)
