Meet the breeder

I'm Beth and Joe R., the breeder behind Beechwood Goldendoodles (VA) located in Culpeper, VA. As a proud Gold-Level member of GANA, we test and match our dogs to eliminate the risk of common diseases in poodles and golden retrievers. Our OFA testing for hips, heart, knees, patellas, and eyes ensures our parent dogs are physically sound. Your future pup's health is our top priority!

Q. & A. with Beth and Joe

  • Why did you start breeding?

When our beloved golden retriever Sunny passed away, Joe and I decided to chase two dreams simultaneously! We wanted to share the incredible healing and love that dogs offer by becoming reputable breeders of pups with high intelligence, hybrid vigor, therapy-dog temperaments, and hypoallergenic qualities! Plus, we infused a touch of that wonderful golden retriever spirit—without all the shedding!
  • What makes your program special?

We're the top dog! We prioritize EVERY aspect of your pup's development, making informed decisions based on the latest medical research. Our breeding choices are meticulously crafted based on well-documented genealogical records, genetics, and OFA tests. The happy environment of our parent dogs, who are cherished family pets, positively influences your pup's epigenetics even before birth.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
