I'm Bonnie J., the breeder behind Bejay’s Corgis located in Lakefield, MN. I have genetically tested parents with wonderful temperaments. Our pups are very socialized when they go to their forever homes. I started breeding quality Corgis so that others can enjoy this wonderful breed and all it has to offer.
Q. & A. with Bonnie
Why did you start breeding?
Bejay’s got started several years ago when we purchased our first Corgi! We totally fell in love with this breed of dog and decided that we wanted to share this wonderful breed with others. We have expanded to 6 females and 2 males. They are raised on a small hobby farm with chickens, peacocks, cattle, horses, and sheep. Our dogs have a ton of socialization with ourselves, grandchildren, animals, and family.
What makes your program special?
I have genetically tested parents with wonderful temperaments. We strive to produce puppies that are just as wonderful, or even better, than where they come from to improve the line.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
