Our Miniature Schnauzer, Hazel, is such a sweetheart! She is definitely a lapdog, which we love! She is pretty much trained to do all her business outside, but she does not want to walk with a leash quite yet. She is still very afraid of some other people. I’m concerned about future grooming because of her fears. I made an introductory appointment with the groomer to just introduce her to all the sounds. It is set for next week. I realize there is a prime imprinting timeframe and we did get her well beyond that timeframe. Just wondering what she could possibly been exposed to that would make her so fearful? I have a good friend who is actually a puppy raiser for “Leader Dogs for the Blind.” Hazel is scared to death of her!! She absolutely quakes when she comes over. It may be the smell of her dogs, but Hazel never calms down until after she leaves. Her heart pounds and she doesn’t stop shaking! Rather concerning. If you have anything to offer, we would appreciate your input! Julie Thompson

Baxter is up to six pounds and doing well with outdoor training. He loves his toys. FYI we haven’t seen any AKC forms yet. Is there still a hold up? Thanks, Susan Bristol
