Meet the breeder

I'm Harriet C., the breeder behind Bella Miniature Schnauzers located in Rochester, NY. We are a small breeding program. Our dogs are our pets! We strive to raise quality, healthy Miniature Schnauzers with good temperaments and conformation.

Q. & A. with Harriet

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bred, raised and showed Quarter Horses before getting into dog breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding dogs are tested for PRAA, Myotonia Congenita, cleared for MAC, and have yearly CERF eye exams. All of our puppies are worm tested and vet checked. They are up to date on their shots and have their eyes examined by a certified veterinary ophthalmologist before going home with their new owners. They are very socialized as they are raised in our home. We absolutely love this breed! They are relatively small in size and are a very intelligent and friendly breed. They are non-shedding and great pets for people with allergies. They are great with children and the elderly.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
