Why did you start breeding?
We have always planned to become dog breeders. We came across our first dog (a male) a few years back and although we had never discussed breeding mini Australian Shepherd’s we immediately fell in love. We later acquired a female with plans to eventually breed her, which we did. We have loved the journey and hope to enjoy more litters in the future.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are registered with the American Stock Dog Registry. We are committed to helping our customers have a good experience with their pups. We are always willing to answer questions, provide suggestions for training, and keep in touch even years after your purchase. Our pups have early exposure to children and farm life, and are specially suited for similar environments.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature American Shepherd puppies include red tri-color and black tri. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Justin
Justin has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Justin partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"The price is $1,600 per puppy, and this includes a care pack with dog food, a coupon for dog food, a collar and leash, and a small mat/blanket that smells like mom. The deposit reserves a pup and covers initial costs from vaccinations, deworming, and vet screening. As a general rule, tails will docked unless otherwise requested prior to birth."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 07 Mar •…6/8 pups from Hemingway & Tabitha’s litter went home to their new families this weekend. We still have two sweethearts waiting for their forever homes. Graham (red tri male) was the first born of the litter and he takes his job as the oldest very seriously. He loves to play and roughhouse with his siblings despite being the smallest of all the pups in the litter. He will also happily take on his mom who at the moment is four times his size. 😂 Schaw (black tri male) was the second born of the litter and is a lover. He wants to be cradled and stick with you wherever you go. He’ll happily play with his siblings, parents, and loves our other older dog too. He likes to climb on top of them to rest if they’ll let him.

Litter update on 28 Feb •…The three musketeers! Fraser, Graham, and Schaw are available to reserve, and are ready to go home THIS Friday! Schaw's personality really has shown through this week. He is quite the explorer and loves to find new smells outside. Fraser is an excellent balance of playful and cuddly! We find him piling on his siblings for both cuddles and wrestling. Graham is as playful as ever! He likes sneaking up and scaring Hemingway, his dad, who is apparently easily startled. They are ready to go home on Friday!

Litter update on 23 Feb •…We had quite a busy weekend, as two more puppies, Mackenzie and Wallace both found their forever homes. This leaves only 3 more puppies that are still available! Fraser, Graham and Schaw are our three boys still available, two red tri and one black tri. Reach out to us today if you’re interested before these pups are reserved!

Litter update on 20 Feb •…Happy six weeks to these big bundles of energy! Nearly half of the pups from this litter have already matched! Only two short weeks until they are ready to join their forever homes. Mackenzie and Graham are definitely the most goofy and playful of the bunch! Despite their size they LOVE playing with their parents, and also love teasing their siblings. Fraser is happy to join in the fun, but is equally happy to come cuddle or play tug of war with you. Schaw and Wallace love to be cradled and would love to stick right by your side all day long, ride on your forearm, or paw at your toes. We are happy to schedule custom meetups and also offer flight nanny services as well. Reach out to us today!

Litter update on 15 Feb •…5 weeks old and their personalities are developing and becoming more obvious! They spend lots of time playing, eating, teasing each other, and sleeping. They love to be held and to snuggle with their siblings. They had their first bath this week and weren't sure what to think about the experience. 😁 They are able to regulate their body temperature much better now and are able to wander outside for short periods of time.

Litter update on 04 Feb •…These beautiful pups are nearly four weeks old already!😱 They are exploring and running around the place much more now, and their personalities are starting to show through! They have also already been started transitioning to puppy food. One pup has already been reserved, and we have had LOTS of interest in several others as well. These pups parents, Hemingway and Tabitha, have had extensive health testing and genetic testing for diseases and DNA. That means these pups are all cleared and will not be affected for breed-specific or other diseases! We are happy to help ensure your new best friend will have a long and healthy life. Litter update on 25 Jan •…Two weeks old! These guys sure are adorable! They are MUCH more mobile now than before, and their eyes are OPEN 🤩. They are all growing to be a great size and still love cuddles, though we certainly have several explorers in the group too. Check out their pages to see additional photos!

Litter update on 16 Jan •…Introducing the Noble Scots! Our beautiful dam Tabitha and sire Hemingway recently had this litter, and these pups are adorable! As both Loren and I have Scottish heritage, we thought it would be neat to use Scottish Clan names for the puppies! We are smitten! They are very soft warn balls of joy. The pups will be ready to go to their forever homes on March 6th 2026. They are registerable with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR). The pups are now one week old, but are getting quite mobile. They enjoy all the cuddles with mom and each other. Of course we have a few that like to wander and suddenly find themselves isolated from their siblings 😆. Over the next couple weeks their eyes and ears will start to open, and their personalities will start to emerge. Stay tuned!

Litter update on 06 Jan •…We are excited to announce an upcoming litter from our beautiful dam Tabitha and sire Hemingway! They are so kind and loving and are perfect family dogs! They have had one litter previous to this, and their pups were absolutely gorgeous! The cover photo attached is from their previous litter. The pups should be ready to go to their forever homes in March 2026 and can be registered with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR).
