Q. & A. with Zach
Why did you start breeding?
Raising purebred Pembroke Corgis has been a generational affair for our family. Our introduction to Corgis came early, as my mother raised Pems for many years before we started. Her established program provided the base for our entry into the breed, not just in proven genetic lines, but also in experience and mentorship of ethical breeding.
What makes your program special?
Our females have been in our family for generations, dating back to when my mother first started raising Pems. This gives us intimate knowledge of their health history and also personality! It is not uncommon to see flashes of a dog's grandparents as they roll and play with each other. Our males are carefully selected from some of the top programs in the country that share our focus and values.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and fawn, fawn, red, sable, white and black, white and red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
