Bergray Farm

Jean R.

Breeder of Dutch Shepherds and Swedish Vallhunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Jean R., the breeder behind Bergray Farm located in Middleville, MI. We love our dogs and they are pets first. We raise, train and show Swedish Vallhunds and Dutch Shepherds in conformation, obedience, rally, trick, agility, barn hunt and herding. Our goals for our puppies is that they are awesome family dogs that are eager to learn and participate in family activities.

Q. & A. with Jean

  • Why did you start breeding?

I want to help preserve this ancient breed and work to maintain the health and temperament of these great little dogs. I only breed a litter when I have a specific plan - usually for a new puppy to train and show. I enjoy studying the pedigree and accomplishments of the parents and trying to make the best match. I love helping the puppies learn new skills.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
