I'm Dana J. A., the breeder behind Bernese Home located in Marshfield, MO. I never knew a dog could truly become a best friend until I had my first Bernese Mountain Dog. Now I am a small hobby breeder that focuses on producing loving Berners and Bernedoodles for families that will appreciate their gentle, fun nature. Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life!

Why did you start breeding?
It wasn't until I became best friends with a Bernese Mountain dog named Honey that I wanted to begin breeding dogs. I was completely taken by her gentle, fun-loving nature and her loyalty to me. Keeping the breed alive has truly become a passion. I have begun breeding Bernedoodles for those who also love the Berner's temperament but have allergies to the long fur.What makes your program special?
I work to provide healthy, good-quality puppies that are gentle friends and companions. Because my program is small, I am able to give each dog and puppy all of the attention and care that they need to develop and thrive. My dogs are my family, and I give that same love to each puppy as I prepare them to join their forever homes. I believe that these dogs are what transform any house into a family home!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
