I'm Megan and Kaitlin S., the breeder behind Berns & Doodles located in Burbank, OH. At Berns & Doodles, raising healthy, well-adjusted puppies begins long before they go home. We have been raising and placing puppies since 2012, and our goal is to give each puppy a strong foundation while providing our families with support throughout the process. Our puppies are raised in our home with hands-on care, daily interaction, and intentional early socialization. From birth, we focus on helping them become comfortable with normal household activity, handling, different sounds, surfaces, people, and age-appropriate new experiences. We want our puppies to leave us confident, curious, and prepared to transition successfully into family life. Each puppy receives age-appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations and deworming before going home. We carefully monitor growth and development throughout the first eight weeks and provide families with their puppy's health and vaccination records. Our parent dogs are selected with careful consideration of health, temperament, structure, and the qualities we want to continue in our lines. We believe beautiful puppies are wonderful, but health and temperament will always matter more than color. Families also receive ongoing communication as their puppies grow, including photos and updates, preparation information before pickup, and guidance to help make the transition home as smooth as possible. Our relationship with our families doesn't end on go-home day,we remain available as a resource throughout the life of their dog.
