Meet the breeder

I'm Brenda S., the breeder behind Best Friend Frenchies, LLC located in Polk City, FL. We take pride in breeding healthy and happy dogs. Health and temperament are our number one priority. All our dogs are family. The puppies are born and raised in our home. We love them all here first and do what we can to make their transition as unstressed as possible. We focus on health, temperament, and structure. We health test all of our breeding dogs and have started with OFA testing as well.

Q. & A. with Brenda

  • Why did you start breeding?

While working at the veterinary clinic in Wisconsin I absolutely fell in love with the French bulldog. I was able to purchase my first two girls from Iowa and my first boy from Missouri. Working at the vet I was able to receive a world of information and education. I then started into genetics and love the challenge of learning more every day. Breeding French Bulldogs is my passion.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to breed happy healthy dogs with the correct structure. I love every dog that comes into my life and they are treated like family. The puppies are born and raised in the house and I am with them 24/7 from the moment they are born. My dogs are health tested to ensure no genetic diseases are carried on. Pet homes are always preferred. I stay in contact and offer full support for life. I offer a congenital health guarantee with every puppy sold and I ensure their health and well being from day 1. This is a family passion, and we all love what we do.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Brenda was very responsive and professional. Our little buddy had been microchipped and vaccinated which Brenda provided perfect documentation for us coming from out of state. You could tell he was well cared for and we have had no health problems so far. We still keep in touch with Brenda and I am very glad we chose her to get our baby boy from.
