Best Little Aussies

Delta is a sweet and athletic girl that is a big dog in a small package. She loves to run in the pasture and ride on the side by side and tractor. She is always ready to go and do as long as it is with her person!

Elite Grand CH Best Little Full of Fire and Class “Phoenix” Phoenix is a beautiful 14.5", 15 lb female bred here at Best Little Aussies. She is a daughter of Classy, our Multi-Champion girl, and Rimmy, our Rimfire-bred male, bringing together some of the lines we have been very excited to continue in our program. Phoenix has been extensively shown throughout both her puppy and adult career and is an ASDR Elite Grand Champion as both a puppy and an adult. She finished among the Top 15 puppies in the nation in 2022 and has also earned a Rally Obedience title, demonstrating her intelligence, willingness, and trainability in addition to her success in the conformation ring. Phoenix is full-panel genetically tested and clear with the exception of being a PRA carrier. A carrier is not affected with PRA, and she is responsibly paired with clear sires so her puppies are not at risk of being affected from these pairings. She is scheduled to complete her OFA health testing in November 2026 when our veterinarian is here. One of our favorite things about Phoenix is her temperament. She is lower to medium energy, exceptionally calm and willing, and truly doesn’t know a stranger. She is friendly and outgoing with people while still having a wonderful ability to settle and relax. With her proven show record, pedigree, trainability, and outstanding temperament, we are very excited about Phoenix’s future as a dam and what she will contribute to the next generation of Best Little Aussies.

Tweety may be just 10” tall and 8 lbs, but this tiny Toy Aussie is big on charm and beauty! She’s the ultimate lap and purse baby, happiest when snuggled close and soaking up all the love she can get. A total cuddlebug, Tweety has an affectionate, easygoing nature that makes her an instant favorite. She’s not just adorable—Tweety is also full panel clear on genetic testing with OFA Good hips, and normal elbows and cardiac, making her as sound in health as she is stunning in appearance. With her Elite Champion title in Conformation, gorgeous structure, and tons of coat, she’s a perfect example of Toy Aussie excellence… all packed into one tiny, glamorous package.

Meet Colt, our ASDR Elite Grand Champion! 🏆 This striking blue merle male with mesmerizing blue eyes stands 14.25 inches tall and weighs 15 pounds. He's red factored, full panel clear, and NAD clear, ensuring top-notch health. Colt's medium energy makes him the perfect playful and outgoing companion. Maple is a beautiful 11” tall, 11.5 lb toy female. She is a Ranger × Lily daughter, going back to our Red and Rosie lines that have been an important part of our program for many years. Maple is full-panel clear through multi-generational genetic testing and comes from three generations of Good and Excellent OFA hip lines. She will complete her own OFA testing this winter. Maple is lower energy and an absolute cuddle bug. She is the perfect couch companion, loves to be close to her people, and gives the very best kisses. She has the sweet, easygoing temperament we love to see in our dogs. We have been taking a break from the show pen, so Maple has not been shown herself, but she comes from four generations of champions and Rally Obedience title holders. We love the combination of her small size, pedigree, structure, and wonderful temperament and are excited about what she brings to our program.

Elite CH Tinker Toy’s Man in Black at BLA Ruger is a striking 13", 15 lb black tri male with two blue eyes, registered as an AKC Miniature American Shepherd and ASDR Toy Australian Shepherd. He combines beautiful breed type, correct structure, intelligence, and a wonderful temperament in a compact package. Ruger has proven himself both in the conformation ring and in performance. He is an ASDR Elite Champion in Conformation and has earned his Level 1 Rally Obedience title, demonstrating his trainability and willingness to work with his person. Health testing is an important part of our breeding program, and Ruger has been extensively tested. He has OFA Good hips with normal elbows, patellas, and cardiac testing. He is full-panel genetically tested, including NAD clear. Ruger is MDR1 N/M (carrier), meaning he carries one copy of the MDR1 variant. This does not prevent him from being bred responsibly, and we take his MDR1 status into consideration when selecting appropriate pairings. Ruger brings together so many of the qualities we strive for at Best Little Aussies—beautiful structure, a manageable Toy size, intelligence, trainability, and versatility. We are excited to have him as part of our program and look forward to seeing what he continues to contribute to future generations.

Ran**CH Best Little Power Ranger** Ranger is truly one of the heart dogs of our program. At just 13.75" tall and approximately 18 lbs, he has a beautiful, correct build while maintaining the smaller size we strive for in our Toy Australian Shepherd program- He is still a registered AKC Australian Shepherd, just undersize. Ranger has the whole package—brains, beauty, temperament, and proven health. He has **OFA Excellent hips**, has completed our full panel genetic testing, and is clear for the conditions tested. He has also earned his **Conformation & Rally Championship**, demonstrating his intelligence, trainability, and willingness to work with his person. Beyond the show ring and health testing, Ranger has an exceptional temperament. He is a trained **medical alert dog** and is incredibly intuitive, people-oriented, and devoted. He has a wonderful off switch and is equally happy working alongside his person or settling in for some couch time. Ranger has been an important sire in our program and consistently passes along many of the qualities we value most: beautiful structure, intelligence, trainability, affectionate temperaments, and that wonderful Aussie desire to be close to their people. He is a special dog who has left his mark on multiple generations of Best Little Aussies.

CH Best Little BMW “Beamer” Beamer is a beautiful 12" tall, 13 lb black tri female with one blue eye and one brown eye. She combines the smaller toy size we love with beautiful breed type, a wonderful coat, and a sweet, confident personality. She is very outgoing and doesnt know a stranger. She will be competing in Rally Obedience this fall as well as Fast Cat. Beamer is Full Panel Clear by genetic testing, with documentation available. She comes from health-tested parents, with OFA testing completed on both her sire and dam (documentation available). Beamer will complete her own OFA evaluations in November 2026. Westley is a precious boy that is several generations of Best Little Aussie breeding. These lines are known for their kind dispositions, willingness to please, and sound bodies and minds. Westley is so much fun to show and to have around. He wants to do everything right. He also is a constant winner in the show ring earning his Elite Bronze Championship as of 3/13/21. He also completed health testing on 3/13/21 as well including CERF OFA eye exams, OFA Hips, Elbows, and Patellas.

RUSTIC RIVER RANCH FULL OF WISDOM at BLA “Inari” ASDR Elite Champion – Bronze Inari is the perfect blend of beauty and brains, embodying everything we love in a Toy Australian Shepherd. Measuring 13” tall and 12 lbs, this blue-eyed beauty carries herself with elegance and quiet confidence. With a more laid-back, lower energy temperament, Inari is a thoughtful problem-solver who takes in the world with intention and grace. Kami is very much a velcro dog. She is ready for anything as long as she gets to be with her people. She loves riding on the side by side and tractor. She has no idea of her small stature and is truly a big dog in a small body. She loves tricks and frequently will go through several without prompting hoping for a treat!

Brayken All the Rules at BLA “Breaker” Breaker is everything we strive to produce in a Miniature American Shepherd—athletic, intelligent, versatile, and incredibly eye-catching. This handsome red merle male combines a beautiful headpiece, balanced structure, and a striking expression highlighted by his captivating heterochromatic eyes. An ASDR Champion and Elite Grand Puppy Champion, Breaker has proven himself both in and out of the show ring. He comes from full-panel clear, champion parents and represents generations of carefully preserved excellence here at Best Little Aussies. His pedigree is packed with some of our most beloved greats on the dam’s side — Ellie Mae, Marley, Millie, Rimmy, Frankie, and Pip — dogs who helped shape the look, temperament, and consistency we are known for today.
