I'm Mary Beth B., the breeder behind Big Tex Australian Labradoodles located in Kingwood, TX. Our goal here at Big Tex Labradoodles is to produce happy, healthy and sound Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodle puppies with wonderful temperaments. We do extensive health testing on all of our breeding dogs and take extra measures to promote the health and well being of our puppies. Our Labradoodles are raised by our family in our home, in a loving and nurturing environment around children and adults. We make every effort to raise healthy, well-socialized puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I have grown up with dogs all my life and grew especially fond of this breed, the "Australian Multi-Generational Labradoodle." Our passion and love of this breed are what made us decide to become breeders of this wonderful dog.
What makes your program special?
Big Tex Australian Labradoodles is an accredited breeder of Multi-Gen Australian Labradoodle puppies. We are committed to breeding allergy-friendly, nonshedding Australian Labradoodles with superior health and intelligent, loving temperaments. Our dogs are all a part of our family and we cannot imagine life without them. We follow the strict guidelines and are members of the Australian Labradoodle Association (ALAA). All of our breeding dogs have been thoroughly tested.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, chocolate, and parchment. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), DNA Profile, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
