Why did you start breeding?
My ex introduced me to Great Danes. We purchased a pair. We broke up, I got the dogs and started the breeding program. When I started, I met another breeder who was a teacher. She offered to mentor me if I wanted to continue in breeding. I had an excellent mentor and other breeders in my area to guide me be successful.What makes your program special?
I feel my program is special because of the love & care I give my Babies (dogs). I breed for temperament 7 health. My puppies are raised in a climate-controlled environment. Potty training at 3 weeks. Receive an AWESOME care package & notebook. Socialized daily. I keep families up to date weekly with photos and progress. Start leash training & kennel training. Started basic command training.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include merlequin, blue and white, fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
